Health care reform topic of Dec. 3 presentation

Clarksville, Ark. --- Health care reform will be the topic of discussion during a presentation by Johnson Regional Medical Center Administrator Larry Morse at 7 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 3, at University of the Ozarks.

Larry Morse will speak about health care reform at University of the Ozarks on Thursday, December 3.

The topic for the presentation will be “Health Care Reform: Who, What, Where, When and Why.” The presentation, which will be held in the Walker Hall Community Room, is sponsored by the university’s Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) organization. The public is invited to attend the event and there is no charge for admission.

Morse has served as administrator at JRMC since 2002. He previously served as senior vice president at St. Bernard’s Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark., from 1981 to 2002. Morse earned his bachelor’s degree in business and economics from Hendrix College and a master’s degree in health administration from Georgia State University. He is the current chair of the Arkansas Hospital Association.
