The President's Post
Welcome back! Shereé and I love this time of the year, and we hope that you are as excited to return as we are to have you back. Although we had a flurry of activity on campus this summer, it is never the same without you. We missed you.

We have a number of new students, faculty, and staff at Ozarks this fall. We admitted about 270 first-time freshmen and transfer students, so this is our biggest class in recent history. We also have 23 new employees throughout the campus. At Ozarks we have been known historically for our friendly and hospitable manner. We are all the current caretakers of that tradition of cordiality. When you see a new face, please greet that person with a genuine smile and quick hello. We each remember how important that friendly greeting was for us when we first came to campus. Please help me make everyone feel welcomed. We are a community of caring individuals, and that is what makes Ozarks special.

I truly believe that this year will be our best one yet. Thank you for being an important part of it.

Dr. Rick Niece
