New FacesOver the summer some positions on campus have changed and others are in the process of changing. So to better familiarize the new and returning students with the newest members of our campus staff, here are some brief bios on each of the new faces on campus:
Jeff Blackard program coordinator in the Jones Learning Center, is not new to the Ozarks campus. However, his position on campus has changed from assistant instructor of mathematics to program coordinator in the learning center.
Lou Chapman , secretary for the Humanities and Fine Arts Division, has a master of arts in library science from Sam Houston State University.
Kimberly Clemens , MacLean Hall director, campus life coordinator, began work at Ozarks on July 27, 1998. She has a Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in social work and a Master of Science in Education from Southern Illinois University.
Susan Edens Dorney , admissions counselor, graduated from the University of the Ozarks in 1992 with a bachelor of arts in communications. She has worked in radio at KMAG; KWHN; KXIO in Clarksville; and KEZU and KPBI in Fort Smith.
Stacey Duff , assistant professor of English, will be teaching courses in composition and creative writing. He is a native of Lamar and earned his undergraduate degree from the College of the Ozarks in Missouri and went on to gain his master of fine arts in creative writing from Brown University.
Andrew Englebrecht , Smith Hall director, director of recreation in student life, began work at Ozarks on August 2, 1998. He earned a bachelor of science degree in organizational communication from the University of Oklahoma.
Bill Hanuska , library assistant, graduated from Ozarks in 1994 and then worked for a year on campus with the relocation and computerization of the library.
Laura Mitchell , housekeeper, is a native of El Dorado and has lived in Clarksville for the past six years. She and her husband, Danny, have a two-year-old son.
Kim Spicer , career counselor, graduated from U of O last year with a bachelor of science degree in management.
Renee Watson --administrative assistant in Student Support Services -- served as night lab coordinator for Student Services during the Spring of 1998.
