University of the Ozarks was visited by a group of Habitat for Humanity volunteers in the 2013 Bike and Build tour through Arkansas. While on campus, a bicycle safety course was presented to area youth. The evening meal was provided by First United Methodist Church and First Presbyterian Church of Clarksville. Julia Frost coordinated the visit.
Clarksville is the first "centennial" ride of the 3592 mile trip that takes the cyclists from Nags Head, North Carolina to San Diego, California. During the seventy day trip, twelve days will be spent at Habitat for Humanity worksites. The volunteers worked on a home in Little Rock and were hosted by Second Presbyterian Church, Little Rock for two nights.
