This little corn snake, named Roulette, belongs to Heather Hall. Roulette lives in the science building but every now and then Heather brings her over to the President's office to say 'hi.' Carmen got a chance to hold her during one of her visits early in April.

According to some sources, Pantherophis guttatus guttatus snakes are very docile and reluctant to bite. This, along with their attractive color pattern, moderate adult size, and the ease of care makes them popular pets, and captive snakes can live to be over 20 years old.
