Thirty students joined Dr. Doug Jeffries and Dr. Kim Van Scoy Saturday morning, November 7, to plant trees on campus. The group planted eight trees this year, most of them large, handsome specimens, including a new disease resistant variety of American Elm (Ulmus americana). The elm was one the first of its kind to be planted in this region.
