Clarksville, Ark. --- Saying that in this day and age of computers and technology, the most extraordinary phenomena is still the power of the human mind, Craig Karges will bring his "Experience the Extraordinary" performance to University of the Ozarks at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 22.
The event, which will be held in the Walton Fine Arts Center on the U of O campus, is part of the university’s 2005-2006 Walton Arts & Ideas Series. Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased by calling 479-979-1346.
Human beings use only 10 percent of our minds. In this amazing presentation, Karges urges audience members to explore the capabilities existing in that other 90 percent. During his performances, Karges explores the unexplained, the unknown, and the unbelievable. Unspoken thoughts are revealed, predictions are made and verified, matter passes through matter, and objects move through the air.
Karges call his presentations a touch of mystery in a world dominated by technology. He dramatizes the unknown, the unexplained and the unbelievable. You don't just watch this performance, you experience it, through total audience participation.
Performance, the international touring talent weekly, named Karges' touring show one of the top five variety/family shows in the country. Performance magazine called the extraordinist's performance, “the next era in mystery entertainment.” Karges first became popular touring college campuses. He was named Entertainer of the Year six times by the National Association for Campus Activities (NACA). He has appeared on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” “Larry King Live,” and numerous other national television shows.
