University Theatre has just completed our 92nd Anniversary Theatre Season, "A Season of Thrills, Chills, Murder, & Laughter," and what a great season it was!

2011-2012 Season Recap

Deathtrap, by Ira Levin: The 2011-2012 season of University Theatre kicked off with October performances of Deathtrap, a thriller in two acts by Ira Levin. The University Theatre production of Deathtrap received several awards at the Arkansas State Kennedy Center, American College Theatre Festival held October 26-29 at Henderson State University in Arkadelphia. University Cabaret - "a musical variety": In February, University Cabaret - "a musical variety" was an absolutely amazing four nights of music, drama, comedy, and dance. With more than 30 cast members and over 100 costumes, the evening was a non-stop parade of talent by members of the theatre program and the University faculty, staff and students.

The Foreigner, by Larry Shue: Winner of two Obie Awards and two Outer Critics Circle Awards as Best New American Play and Best Off-Broadway Production, The Foreigner by Larry Shue is described as an inspired comic romp! University Theatre pulled the show off in style during three fabulous performances held in mid-April.
