University Theatre: A season of Southern Discomfort

"The lesson will always repeat itself, unless you see yourself as the problem--not others."~ Shannon L. Alder

"Choices made follow you forever and affect everyone in their path one way or another."~ J.E.B. Spredemann, An Unforgivable Secret

We define abilities while our choices define us. Human existence is all about the choices we make. Hopefully, with critical thinking, we make sound decisions that will move us forward toward better and greater things, but sometimes we make poor decisions, which, we often realize too late, will impact our future in an assured, negative way.

In that vein, University of the Ozarks Theatre zooms in with a microscope for our 96th theatre season to rural Oklahoma and Arkansas for an examination of what happens when people convince themselves they have been wronged or believe that the choices they make for selfish reasons will not affect their futures or the futures of those around them. Announcing our season of "Southern Discomfort"...
