Who can Vote in Arkansas?
There are some basic requirements you must meet in order to vote in Arkansas. You must be:
- an Arkansas Resident (or a student attending college in Arkansas)
- a U.S. Citizen
- Mentally Competent
- at least 18 Years Old
Students attending college in Arkansas can register to vote in Arkansas, or in their home state (but not both).
When to Register

How to Register
To register to vote in Arkansas:
- Register in person at the local county clerk's office
- Download the Arkansas Voter Registration Form then take the completed form to any county clerk at least 30 days prior to the next election. You can also mail your your completed form to:

- Download the National Voter Registration Form from the Election Assistance Commission (EAC) website. Send the completed form to the address provided in the form's instructions.
