As Halloween approaches, University Theatre opens the 2008-2009 season with Dracula, a dramatic adaptation of Bram Stoker's classic novel. Filled with the traditional ingredients of a Gothic terror a manor house on the heath, children dying of mysterious causes, howling wolves, and flying bats. Dracula will send an autumnal chill down your spine as the forces of good and evil clash in a thrilling tale of mystery and intrigue. Join all the familiar characters Dracula, Lord of the Undead, Renfield, the inmate who eats flies, Dr. Seward, a medical doctor consumed by guilt over the fate of his fiancé, Lucy, and Dr. Van Helsing, a metaphysicist investigating the paranormal. For a night of Halloween fun, come see Dracula!
