 Nationally recognized guitarist and musician, John Miller will be on campus in February as part of the University's Walton Arts & Ideas Series. A nationally recognized guitarist and musician, John Miller has been a composer, performer and music teacher for more than 40 years, since he received his first guitar at age 16. Miller has performed a wide variety of music throughout his career, including folk, country, bluegrass, country blues and jazz. During his visit to Ozarks, Miller will present a lecture on musicology on the evening of Feb. 20, and then perform a concert on the evening of Feb. 21. The events will be held in the Rowntree Recital Hall in the University's Walton Fine Arts Building. They are free and open to the public.
