All concepts of swift water rescue and swift water scenarios will be covered in this course. Ozark Safety and Rescue Educators specialize in customized classes for anyone who may find themselves dealing with water rescue. There is an alarming frequency of would-be rescuers becoming victims themselves as they attempt to perform rescues in water environments. The classes for professional rescuers meet National Fire Protection Agency standards and the paddler courses meet the requirements for many organizations. We also teach the American Canoe Association format classes for paddlers who want to enhance their skills and for rescue personnel we take the same program and adjust it to the needs of the area in which they respond.
