Ozarks Alumni Association adds four

CLARKSVILLE, Ark. ---Four new members have been recently elected to the University of the Ozarks Alumni Association Board of Directors.
Joining the U of O alumni board are Dena Dixon of North Little Rock, Robert Harrison of Fort Smith, Jana Hart of Hartman and Steven Ribar of Rogers.
Dixon, who received a degree in fine arts from Ozarks in 1986, works as an artist in North Little Rock. She is a member of the Arkansas Anaplastology Association and a past member of the Antique Association. At Ozarks she was a member of Beta Sigma Phi and the International Club and served as a volunteer for the Don Davis Memorial School for Exceptional Children. She is a member of Ozarks' Central Arkansas Alumni Chapter.
Harrison, a 1950 graduate of Ozarks with a business degree, is a multi-line general agent for American National Insurance Company. He has been with American National for 44 years. He has served on the alumni board previously.
Hart graduated from Ozarks in 1985 with a degree in business administration. She is the director of the Financial Aid Office at Ozarks. Hart has served on the Johnson County Single Parent Scholarship Board as well as the University of the Ozarks Women Scholarship Board. Her husband, David, is also a graduate of Ozarks.
Ribar, who received a degree in art and marketing from Ozarks in 1993, is the advertising manager for Assembled Products Corp. of Rogers. He is on the board of the Lutheran Youth Organization and has also served as a Peace Lutheran Church youth leader. At Ozarks he was chosen as Who's Who Among American University Students and was on the Dean's List five times.
