Clarksville, Ark.-Erica Eneks' three-pointer with 2:33 remaining broke a 63-63 tie and enabled the University of the Ozarks women's basketball team to earn a 72-66 win over North Central College in Naperville, Illinois, on Saturday.
Eneks only three of the night came at the most opportune time as her bucket gave Ozarks (1-1, 0-0) a 66-63 advantage and a lead they would never relinquish. Eneks and company helped the Lady Eagles overcame a 44-36 halftime deficit.
Mandi Carter scored a team-high 18 points. Eneks finished with 17 points and Jeanne Randall and Lindsey Nietert had 14 and 12 points, respectively. Randall collected a team-best 8 rebounds.
