About Richard L. Dunsworth, J.D.
25th President, University of the Ozarks
Richard L. Dunsworth comes to University of the Ozarks from Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois, where he served as vice president for enrollment since 2004.
He holds a juris doctorate from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He earned a master's degree in education in 1994 from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston. He also holds a bachelor of arts in political science from Colorado State University at Fort Collins, Colorado.
As vice president for enrollment at Millikin, he oversaw numerous departments, including academic development, admission, athletics, financial aid, institutional research, marketing, media relations, registrar, and student development.
President Dunsworth and his wife, Holly, have three children, Nicolas, Emma, and Matthew.
