       Welcome back for a new semester and a new year. I hope your holiday and gifts met your expectations. ‘Tis better to give than receive, but ‘tis also joyful to receive the stuff you need!

Our Christmas and time away from Ozarks were difficult this year. But the challenges were easier to deal with because of the sincere support my family and I feel from this campus and each of you. You are a blessing to me, and I am honored to be surrounded by all of you. Please know how much your prayers, cards, and words of assurance mean. All of us – even Presidents – need to be reassured and comforted every now and then.

   Being a part of a community is important for all of us. Sherée and I are honored to be a part of this one. Now, let’s have another terrific semester!
