I always try my best not to get caught up in the hype of
U.S. News & World Reports annual Americas
Best Colleges ratings. And, for the most part, it is purely
hype. However (and that is a big however), that ranking is the only
national and campus comparison of its kind. People pay attention to
it, and so do I.
