The
President's Post
At the recent Clarksville-Johnson County Chamber of Commerce
Awards Dinner, the University of the Ozarks received a marvelous honor.
Ozarks was named the Corporate Business of the Year for
2001. Lately, as a campus, we have been recognized in a variety of ways,
but I am most proud of this one. The award was the result of a team
effort by all of us. Our status in the community as an educational
leader and a model of service to others is important to me, and
I appreciate that you have made the same commitment. Each of us, as
an employee or a student, is an ambassador for this campus in everything
we do. We are Ozarks. I appreciate your realization of that significant
responsibility.
Dr. Rick Niece,
President
