The President's
Post A prominent feature is the new 40-foot flagpole that will accommodate a large, majestic flag. The visual image, as people enter the campus, will be an impressive one with the flag in the foreground and the Chapel in the background. Our traditions of patriotism and spirituality two cherished embodiments of Ozarks will be perfectly framed. The plaza will also contain a lighted map of the campus, four benches on the perimeter, and a circular red granite inlay of the Ozarks emblem. These additions to our campus, as well as the new signage and the elevator in the Chapel, were made possible through the generosity of the late Dr. Alvin Broyles, an alumnus and Board of Trustee member. A plaque commemorating Dr. Broyles will be displayed in the plaza. His influence on Ozarks will live on for generations. Dr. Rick Niece |
