The
President's Post
The
next two weekends will be special ones at the University of the Ozarks.
Alumni Week- end 2001 will be celebrated April 20-22, and the spring
Board of Trustees meeting will be conducted on April 26-28. Alumni
Weekend is shaping up to be one of the best ever, and a wide variety
of activities are planned. Last year more than 550 people attended Alumni
Weekend, and I think we will have even more attendees this year. The
theme is, Traditions of Excellence: A Celebration of the Past,
Present, and Future, and special reunions for Athletics and graduates
of the Communications Program are planned as well as a series of other
exciting activities. Many of the events are open to all members of the
campus community, and I welcome you to join us in the fun. One highlight
of the weekend will be a tribute and farewell to Hurie Hall. This formal
ceremony and last tour of the building is scheduled for Saturday, April
21, at 2:30 p.m. Come share in the memories!.
