Alumni Weekend is April 20-22!
Get ready for one of the biggest events of the spring,
Alumni Weekend, scheduled for April 20-22. All faculty, staff, and students
are invited to join U of O alumni in weekend's events, which include
a mystery dinner theater, golf tournament, a 5K run/walk, and a picnic
on the campus mall. Visit the Alumni Office for a schedule or to register.
Lovers: Winners
The U of O Theatre department will present its spring
production Lovers: Winners at 7:30 p.m., April 19-22, in
the Walton Fine Arts Center.
The play is a gentle, humorous and touching play set
in 1966 on top of Ardnageeha, the hill of the winds, which overlooks
the town of Ballymore in Northern Ireland. Joe and Mag are two high
school students who have come to the hill to study for their final exams
for their final year in school. They will be married in three weeks.
The characters of The Man and The Woman are narrators and guides for
the play and heighten the irony of the story of the two teenagers.
Spring Concert
The University of the Ozarks music ensembles will
present their spring concert at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 10, in the
Raymond Munger Memorial Chapel. The performance is free and open to
the public.
The event will feature the University Chorus, University
Ringers, and Ozarks Vocal Persuasion. The groups will present selections
from their recent spring performance tour. Among the highlights of the
evening, Mary Bales, a music education major from Klamath Falls, Oregon,
will guest conduct on select pieces.

to Little Rock on March 29-30 and competed in the 2001 Phi Beta Lambda
Leadership Conference. Ozarks PBL entered in 23 different academic
