two significant events occurred at Ozarks: the Board of Trustee Retreat
and the student forum to present the 2001-2002 budget. The BOT Retreat
was conducted on campus this year so that we could include more faculty,
staff, and students in the discussions. As we are beginning to organize
our next Strategic Plan and preparing for the upcoming North Central
evaluation, we want to involve as many people as possible. Planning
for the future and maintaining a focused vision are demanding and time-consuming
tasks, and your assistance is essential. I will keep you updated on
our progress. And wasnt it great to have Mrs. Helen Walton back
on campus for the Board meeting? Her presence is always a blessing,
and I know she enjoyed seeing students and her many friends. [More...]
