The President's Post
Each
of us at Ozarks has much to be grateful for. We are privileged. Even
during those
all-too-frequent, frantically hectic times we face — times of tests,
papers, deadlines, work study, meetings, appointments, e-mails, and
over-extended obligations — we need to pause, to take a breath, and
conduct an internal audit of our blessings. We have many blessings to
count, to praise, to treasure.
As we enter this holiday season of Thanksgiving, let’s
not forget to remember to give thanks. Many people deserve our thanks:
family, friends, faculty, staff, students, and, yes, even administrators.
Let’s be certain to thank those individuals who are an important part
of our lives; those who we often take for granted; those who a make
subtle or a significant difference daily. Let’s acknowledge them and
officially give thanks at this time of Thanksgiving. A little thanks
can go a long way.
This is a campus of great blessings.
