The President's Post
Welcome back for another year. I always look forward to this time and
still feel the
excitement of beginning a new academic year. I hope that you share that
same sense of excitement and anticipation.
I am especially pleased to welcome those of you who
are new to our campus. And, there are many of you this year! We have
a large first-year class and a number of new faculty and staff members.
I am asking those of us who are campus veterans to make a genuine effort
to get acquainted with the rookies. Being new is not easy. A friendly
smile and brief conversation can make a big difference in how quickly
people adjust to life at Ozarks. Take this opportunity to show that
our mission of “hospitality and service to others” is not
merely a slogan.
It is good to have the campus filled with life and
laughter once again, and now the learning begins! Let's make this another
great year.
