| New Faces
on Campus
With the University in the process of many new changes and additions, there have also been some new faculty and staff members added for the Spring Semester. The Advancement Office has hired two new personnel: Becky Swearingen and Kerry Lunn. Swearingen, administrative assistant for Advancement, is from the Clarksville area and has previously worked at Bank of the Ozarks. Kerry Lunn, secretary in Public Relations, previously worked in the Clarksville school system for five years. Student Support Services hired a new director, Sherry Davis. Davis, who comes to Ozarks from Rich Mountain Community College in Mena, Ark., will be overseeing tutoring, counseling, job and graduate school placement, and computer lab services. Five additional adjunct professors have been hired for the Spring Semester. John Barnett and Greta Schuman will be teaching government and accounting, respectively, for the division of Business, Communication, and Government. The Education Division has hired Kathryn Weaver as an adjunct teacher. Evan Duvall is teaching two sections of Composition II and Introduction to Literature classes in the Humanities and Fine Arts Division. Linda Kondrick joins the Math and Science Division. She is 1987 graduate of the Ozarks and will be teaching Physics. If you see these newest additions to the Ozarks family, make them feel welcomed! |
