Tricia Meek began working in the library at Ozarks in April, 1987, but soon moved to the learning center. "I thought I'd like working with students more than with books!" Tricia says.
As testing coordinator, Tricia is responsible for obtaining all tests from professors for every learning center student. This makes her job challenging at times. "Finals are kind of hectic," says Tricia. "But the tests have to go on!"
She enjoys helping students, and prepares outlines and note cards for them, as well as assisting with recruiting of new learning center students. "It's great seeing them succeed," says Tricia. "When they make a good grade, they're so excited!"
Tricia enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She is an avid rodeo fan, although she notes that "I'm mostly in charge of the videotaping!" She films her husband and daughter, who both participate in rodeo events. Her son is more inclined toward hunting and football. "Whatever they want to do, I try to do it!" she says.
