Geanne has been working with learning center students since 1990, after teaching in North Carolina and Fort Smith, Arkansas.
She monitors students as they take tests, runs an accounting lab where students receive additional help on homework assignments, and assists students with research in the campus library for their writing assignments.
"We do their homework together," says Geanne. "It's a real joy to see them come in and succeed and get an education!"
Geanne fills her spare time with various craft projects. "I can't sit still!" she says. She especially enjoys crocheting and doing puzzles. She is also a "Pretty active grandmother" to her three grandchildren.
