Debbie Williams, in reflecting on her career at Ozarks said, "When I began working at the Jones Learning Center in 1982 as Director of Auxiliary Services, I never dreamed I would still be here 20 years later!"  Yet Debbie has found working with the unique group of Ozarks students who have learning disabilities to be a very rewarding experience. She says, "I am privileged to work closely with a few students and observe the awe-inspiring changes that occur in their lives as they strive to reach their full potential."

Debbie understands the often difficult decisions facing students with learning disabilities and their parents as they explore options for higher education. She urges parents to consider the Jones Learning Center because the specially trained staff and individually tailored programs can help students achieve academic success.

Debbie frequently hears those success stories from former learning center students, as well as from their parents. She says is is very heartwarming to her to hear a parent say, "I am excited about the good grades my son is achieving, but I am more excited by the changes in his attitude and self-esteem!"

In her spare time, Debbie leans toward creative pursuits. She travels and explores many quaint small towns in Arkansas, using her explorations as the inspiration for her craft projects. Don't be surprised if you run into Debbie some day -- you may find her fishing for trout, hiking nature trails or exploring mountains on a four-wheeler!
