Johnson County Conservation District Donates to Shooting Sports Club

Clarksville, Ark. --- Charles Plugge, chair of the Johnson County Conservation District Board of Directors, presented a check for $500 to the university on April 13th.

The funds come through the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission and will go to the University’s Shooting Sports Club to help the student organization purchase a dry-fire simulator. The university’s Shooting Sports Club has more than 20 members and plans to compete in the Association of College Unions International (ACUI) Intercollegiate Clay Target Championships in San Antonio, Texas, on April 21-25.
