The Campaign focuses on two foundational goals:
- to improve services to students, and concurrently,
- to strategically increase enrollment with an emphasis on training more and better teachers.

Many vital cornerstones of this effort - such as augmenting the strength of the faculty and academic programs - are already being put into place thanks to a $20 million lead gift from Mrs. Helen R. | Clarksville, Ark. -- Floyd Pledger (left), manager of Arkansas Western Gas in Clarksville, recently donated $1,000 on behalf of the company to University of the Ozarks President Dr. Rick Niece. The money will go to the University's Annual Scholarship Fund. |
