Ozarks celebrates Earth Day 2007

University President Dr. Rick Niece puts the first spade-full of soil around a small red-oak tree that was planted on campus as part of the Earth Day 2007 celebration. Several student organizations worked together to coordinate the week-long celebration.

On Wednesday, representatives from various environmental groups and student organizations set up educational booths on the campus mall.
