Green Tips
This year the Environmental Sustainability Committee will send out a number of GREEN TIPs throughout the academic year. Each of us can make a difference by changing our habits. Several small steps can sometimes add up to a big change.
Green Tip for 11/21/2011: Car Maintenance
These simple vehicle maintenance tips can help lower pollution emissions and save you money:
- Make sure your tires are properly inflated.
- Replace your air filter at the recommended maintenance interval.
- Use the manufacturer recommended grade of motor oil.
- Make any engine repairs promptly to keep your car running at its best!
