It's amazing what can happen in a week. As seen below, one week ago, remodeling of the Seay Student Center cafeteria was still in medias res --  but by yesterday morning's State of the University address by Dr. Niece, the results -- and the look of the spic-n-span new cafeteria -- were remarkable. U of O Business Manager Darrell W. Williams thanked all those who worked so hard to make it happen, which apparently included some late night hours the night before. Thank you everybody involved!

Cone construction of Little Rock. According to Williams, work also continues rapidly across the mall at the Seay Student Center. He says painting, installation of the ceiling grid, carpet, tilework, and dishroom flooring are all going in right now.  "We hope to have the cafeteria's dishwashing machine in by the end of the week," Williams said. "The new furniture to be delivered on August 12."
